Privacy Policy for orot

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Airoun Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides orot, known as 오롯 in Korea (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App or contact us.

1. Content stored on your device

The App does not require you to create an account or sign in with us. Photos, cutouts, compositions, captions, and other content you create or save in the App are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server to receive or store this content.

The App uses camera access when you choose to take photos. You can manage camera permission in your device settings. Denying access prevents camera-based features from working but does not grant us access to other photos on your device.

Android backup and device-transfer features may copy App data according to your device settings and backup provider’s practices. Local storage does not mean that these system-managed backups are disabled.

2. Usage analytics and crash reports

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, which send usage and diagnostic information to Google. The App does not display advertisements, but using these services means that the App is not free of data collection.

Google Analytics for Firebase

We use Analytics to understand App usage and improve the App. It processes information such as App interactions, sessions, automatically recorded purchase events, device and App information, and App-instance identifiers. IP addresses are used to derive approximate location. Android advertising identifiers may also be collected depending on device availability and settings. These identifiers distinguish App installations or devices; they are not the same as a named account with us.

See Google’s Analytics data disclosure information.

Firebase Crashlytics

We use Crashlytics to investigate crashes and improve reliability. It processes crash traces, diagnostic information, device and operating-system information, App versions, and installation identifiers. Analytics events may appear as diagnostic breadcrumbs in crash reports.

See Privacy and Security in Firebase.

3. Purchases

Where in-app purchases are available, Google Play processes payments. The App receives purchase information, including product identifiers, purchase status, and purchase tokens, to acknowledge purchases and enable or restore paid features. It stores paid-feature entitlement status locally.

The App does not collect your payment-card details. Google handles payment and transaction records under its own policies. Deleting App data does not delete your Google Play purchase history.

4. Support emails

If you contact airoun.team@gmail.com, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as your name, message, and attachments. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and address the issue you report. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.

We delete support correspondence and associated personal information without undue delay once the inquiry has been resolved and the information is no longer needed for that purpose. Where applicable law requires retention, we retain the required information for the legally required period.

5. Service providers and international processing

We use Google’s Analytics, Crashlytics, Google Play billing, and Gmail services for the purposes described above. Information processed by these services may be handled on servers outside your country, including in the United States. System-managed backups are handled by the backup provider you use.

Google’s handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy and the applicable service terms. Google’s Firebase privacy information also describes its international data-transfer arrangements. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention

Local App content: Content remains on your device until you delete it or clear the App’s storage. Uninstalling normally removes local App data, but backups and copies you exported may remain and must be managed separately.

Analytics: Our event-data retention setting is 2 months, and our user-data retention setting is 14 months. Reset on new user activity is enabled, so new activity renews the applicable user-data retention period. These settings do not limit most standard aggregated reports. See Google Analytics data retention.

Crashlytics: Google retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning deletion from live and backup systems, as described in its Firebase privacy information.

Support correspondence: We follow the deletion rule in Section 4.

Google Play records and system backups: These are subject to the relevant provider’s retention practices and your account settings, rather than the App’s local deletion controls.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You can delete local content using the App’s available controls, clear App storage through Android settings, and manage camera permissions and system backups through your device or provider settings. Clearing storage or uninstalling the App does not itself request deletion of information already sent to Google.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, object to processing of, or receive a copy of your personal information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, contact airoun.team@gmail.com. We do not maintain a mapping between support email addresses and Analytics or Crashlytics installation identifiers. An email address alone therefore does not allow us to locate a particular installation’s records. We will explain any identification limitations and assess requests under applicable law; this does not remove your statutory rights. We will not ask you to create an App account to submit a privacy request.

8. Changes to this policy

We will publish updates on this page and revise the date above. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before introducing a new use of personal information.
